The Tactical Surveillance System combines state-of-the-art video
capture, storage, and transfer over an open IP network archi-
tecture that is readily integrated with the existing infrastructure.
Backbone communications are achieved through commercial
SATCOM, fiber infrastructure, or RF-7800W High Capacity Data
Radio. The system is equipped with multiple RF-5800 FalconŽ II
series HF, VHF, and multiband radios.
RF-5800H 400-watt and 150-watt HF radio systems provide
advanced capabilities for secure data and digital voice opera-
tion in both fixed and ECCM modes.
The RF-5800V radio system is a digital Combat Net Radio (CNR)
system that offers both ECCM and IP capabilities. Additionally,
the RF-5800V-HH VHF radio provides these capabilities in a rug-
ged, handheld design.
The RF-5800M provides reliable secure voice and data commu-
nications in VHF and UHF frequency bands. The RF-5800M can
interoperate with land forces in the low-band VHF FM, civilian
aircraft in the VHF AM band, military aircraft in the UHF AM
band, and land and maritime networks in the VHF and UHF FM
bands.
The RF-6010 Tactical Network Hub integrates the RF-5800H
and RF-5800V radios with voice and data networks.
A two-channel RF-5800VV Tactical Retransmission Unit (TRU)
provides a relay to extend the range of VHF radios,
such as the RF-5800V-HH handheld radio.
